That... that he doesn't deserve any of me? That doesn't make sense. He's this big important person - he's helped so many people, he's so good.

And me? I'm nothing. Not even good enough to be nothing. I'm a dirty street kid who stole things and slept with people she never should have. It's just nobody here has figured it out yet for real. And when they do they won't care about me or like me either.

They say they don't care or it doesn't matter, but... someday they will and... that will be the end of it all.

And I'll have nothing again.

Tony has done a lot of bad things too. He tries to be a good person, but he's hurt people along the way.

I think they do know, Rain. And they can see past all that stuff to see that you're a very good, very special person.
