0140: Replanting

I'll be up on the roof of the Library planting more flowers if anyone's looking for me or wants to help. I'm mixing in some of the ashes from the destroyed books so they'll kind of still be here at the Library.

Also, Mr. Stark, I came by over the weekend, but you... weren't yourself so I just sort of decided I wouldn't stay. I'm sorry. I'll make up the time later if that's okay.

Some of it was okay. It actually looked worse at first than it was.

You don't - he and I were kind of best friends. I know you probably think that's crazy or not true, 'cause of who I am, but he said I was. I know he was probably mostly just being nice, but I do know he trusted me a lot. So...

It's not that I think that's crazy, Rain. It's just that despite evidence to the contrary I'm not that man. I don't have those memories and I haven't gotten quite there just yet.

I know you're not him. But you seem kind like he was, so I'm happy to work for you.

I kind of compartment things funny. I always forgot that he and Iron Man were the same person, so it's easy to just have Iron Man and my Tony and you Tony as all kind of the same, but different.

I'm glad you're working for me as well.

That makes sense actually. Most people do distinguish between me and Iron Man I think. At least until I insisted very publicly that the suit and I were one and the same.

I knew Iron Man first. He was my very first friend ever.

He got me the job working for Tony - well, I guess for him - back before Tony told everyone that they were the same. So, see, I knew them as two different people before I knew they were only one person.

I miss Iron Man.

No. Never before that I know of. Just... part of the Library got wrecked and the books well... I hate to just see them thrwon out so I thought maybe if they were burned and then their ashes went in with the flowers here... At least they'd kind of stay with the Library, right?
