0140: Rain? Where are you? [Accidental Video]

Rain had been digging since Arkady had taken her five days ago. She only stopped to eat, drink, or rest when specifically ordered to. Which, given the slugs push to keep digging, meant that she wasn't doing nearly enough of any of those.

So it shouldn't have been much of a surprise when her movements, which had grown weaker and weaker over the past few hours, slowed even more and Rain collapsed where she stood. She lay there, curled in the dirt, mumbling to herself over and over.

Dig, Rain, dig. Dig, Rain, dig.

Of course, this was only the shell of Rain. The real Rain was lost somewhere inside her head, splintered into so many imaginary realities that it would be hard to count them all.

[ooc: Feel free to attempt to interact or rescue Rain. Anyone with telepathic or empathic abilities should be able to tell that no one's really home there.]

Digging. Have to dig.

She tried to drag herself up, but collapsed again.

No, Rain, you don't have to dig. Listen to me. Tell me where you are and I'll send help.

But there was no Rain there.

Digging. Have to dig.

Sylar had been taken a few days ago by Arkady, and he'd been surprised by the number of people working here. Rain wasn't the first to have collapsed, but she was the closest one.

He risked it. He stopped shoveling dirt with his telekinesis long enough to lean down and look at her. Could he get her attention?

Hey.

[ooc: Let me know if you'd rather not do action and I'll delete/edit. :3 ]

Action!

She tried to lift her head and get to her feet, but failed again.

Digging, have to dig.

He patted her shoulder in an effort to keep her from moving too much. He tried to think of what he could possibly do for her. They can't stop digging...ah, yes.

I know. I'll dig. For the both of us, okay?

They wouldn't accept that argument, but maybe it'd get her to rest for awhile. He raised his hand and telekinetically raised a large pile of dirt where she could see it.

I can do it.

She looked up at him, worry clear in her eyes.

You dig?

It was probably also fairly clear that Rain wasn't really quite home anymore.

He stares at her very clearly, summoning up the small bit of confidence he has left.

I'll dig. For both of us. You rest.

Maybe that'd get through, but he's not holding his breath.

'You rest.' It was a direction and Rain knew she had to follow those. She made a small sound, almost of relief, and let herself curl into a ball.

Rain rest. Rain good.

He stared at her for a moment as she curled up, just watching. This whole situation is ridiculous.

Yes, you are.

When he returns to digging, he has more intent and ferocity in his eyes. He's going to try to keep Rain out of trouble. He doesn't need as much rest as everyone else, really. And he can keep an eye open for an out.

She slept fitfully, making soft whimpering noises from time to time. It wasn't the most restful of sleeps, but it was more than she'd had in a while.

Rain? What about the library? The garden; you know it can't water itself.

Digging. Have to dig.

Though somewhere very deep inside one of the Rains cried over the garden going unwatered and maybe dying.
