0141: [Accidental Video]
Rain is sitting alone near the dig site, rocking quietly and singing something under her breath. Now that the slugs are gone and the diggers dispersed there is no one to tell her what to do anymore so she's here, more than a little lost.

I think you've done enough digging, Rain, and it looks like you've done a very good job, but you need to go clean up and rest now.

Rain nodded.
'Kay.
She struggled to get up to her feet, barely managing as she swayed unsteadily, and waited to be directed to wherever she was supposed to go to clean up.

We're taking you somewhere safe, Rain.
no subject
Safe. 'Kay.
The Library would be a good place. She still had a little area with a bedroll hidden down on one of the bottom floors for when she wanted to stay over and it was too cold to sleep on the roof. Barnabas would undoubtedly know where it was. And she'd be safe there. And the Library would sing to her.

Why were you digging?

'Kady said dig. Everyone said dig.

Every slugged body and their brother plus sister are delirious.
Plan B: Sniff her out.
Cupcakey not-goodness stinking up the noseworks.
Plan C: ?????
[Barnabas screeched to a halt. Up until Plan C, he'd been making good time running to the rescue while coming up with ways of finding one certain missing person (in a sluggy haystack).
Just as he was about sit his backside down for a serious (Plan D) think, Barnabas heard familiar chirpy sounds coming from the distance.]

'Nabas? Good dog, good Rain.
And then a pause and more plaintively...
Library?
no subject
Yes, Rain. We're going to the library so you can get some rest.
no subject
Rest. Library.
She even managed a tired smile as the dragons played with Barnabas.
Pretty.
