0156: Accidental Video
Rain's taking advantage of a bit of a break in the clouds to dance on the roof top. It's sunny and she's happy and the Library loves her and all she wants to do is express her joy. her words come out in almost a song, straight from the heart and all a-whimsy.
"Over hill, over dale,
Through bush, through brier,
Over park, over pale,
Through flood, and on the roof,
Rain does wander everywhere,
Swifter than the moon's sphere;
And I serve the fairy queen,
To dew her orbs upon the green.
The cowslips tall her pensioners be:
In their gold coats spots you see;
Those be rubies, fairy favours,
In those freckles live their savours:
I must go seek some new books here
And sing a song into the Librar's ear.
Farewell, thou lob of spirits; I'll be gone:
Our queen and all our elves come here anon.
... Anon, anon, anon! I love that word!"
And there is more dancing!

Cities can be terrifying places. So much all in one place without it seeming like there's a place to escape to.

I hide in the low levels here, where it's dark. Or I come up here to the roof where it's open.
[She'd started moving idly again, dancing slowly and bringing him with her gently.]
I grew flowers up here in the summer. In pots and things. I want to try and build a greenhouse here now so I can have them even in the summer. And I could sleep there too in the winter if I didn't want to go home.
no subject
I know about greenhouses. I am a florist back in England.
no subject
You do? You are? Oh, that's wonderful! Do you want to help? You could grow flowers there too. Or tell me what to grow.
Oh, Aya!
no subject
[That won't be too hard really. They have time for that.]
And I own a shop here so I can get you some flowers from it.

[She moved in to try and hug him delightedly, not considering even for an instant whether he'd like that or not.]
Oh, Aya!
no subject
Really. I'll help you.

[She tugged gently at him, wanting to just dance and twirl and express her happiness.]

It's not me. It's the sun and the happiness!
no subject
That could be it too.

Okay. I like having you dance with me.

[And his sister had been there.]

[She touched his cheek gently.]
When you just said that. Something felt so sad.
no subject
You felt that?
no subject
I didn't mean to listen. Just sometimes I forget to try not to.
no subject
It's alright, Rain. I don't mind.
no subject
Really? I don't ever, I don't like, pry, but sometimes if it's loud...
I can't let you feel what I feel if you ever want. I learned how to do that.
no subject
It's alright. I wouldn't have said that if I didn't mean it.
