024: No Blood?

I'm cursed today, I know I am, I can feel it.

But I have no blood on me. I was sure I would.

...

I don't understand.

I... it makes my head hurt to try and think about it.

I'm going up to the roof of the Library. Maybe the wind and the sun will make my head feel better.

My dad always says it was.

And there were lots of people I couldn't save.

It seems like everyone in the City has one of the two burdens: killing, or failing to prevent death.

A strange thing, the tendency of this place to draw them in.

Just because someone has killed a person doesn't mean it was for a bad reason, or that they're a bad person now, or were then.
