096: Just Rain?

I guess I have to think about things some more. Some people who are really important to me don't want to call me River because Rain is really important to them.

So maybe... maybe Rain is good enough. I have to think about it for a while.

Mat shook his head. "No. You are amazing. People here just have the capability of seeing that."

She giggled again, then became quieter. "I don't want to leave, Mat. Is that a bad thing?"

He sighed and leaned back on his hands. "No, Rain. That's not a bad thing."

She smiled up at him. "You're so good to me always.

She sighed happily and snuggled in closer. "And you're home."

"And now it feels like home again. Not that I missed you," she teased. "Only Drop. That's why I had to go stay somewhere else."

She gave in, propping herself up on one elbow to watch him. "I didn't even want to be home without you there. I stayed at the Library or the river."

Smiling, he leaned down to kiss her. "I'm here now."

She tugged at him as they kissed, wanting him stretched out on the ground beside her.

"Missed you," she whispered.

Rain sighed happily again and rested her head on his shoulder. "I just want to stay like this forever maybe."
