I guess I have to think about things some more. Some people who are really important to me don't want to call me River because Rain is really important to them.

So maybe... maybe Rain is good enough. I have to think about it for a while.

Rain, I'm sure his brother's thought of that, and the Warden doesn't seem so cruel as to starve him. They will make arrangements, I'm certain.

Be careful when you're there. I know he'd never intentionally hurt you, but if he's not himself...

I was thinking about things he said, about food? And I should have known that's what he was doing. He all but told me.

Rain, no one will fault you. You've had... problems of your own that occupied your mind and there was no way of knowing, not really, what was happening. In hindsight I imagine many of his friends feel the same way.
