05: Scarecrows
Jul. 7th, 2008 10:58 amI played with scarecrows all day yesterday. At first I was a bit unsure of them, but then I knew they were friendly and good. We ran and played tag in the fields and, oh, it was like being a little kid again!
It's nice here. No one tells me I'm crazy or to shut up or that things aren't what I think they are or that I ask too many questions.
I haven't ventured too much out into the city still. I need to find a job and a permanent place to stay - not that it isn't nice here, but I don't want to outstay my welcome.
I thought I might be daring and try to find the library. Maybe somebody'd even give me a job there - putting books away or sweeping up or something. I'm a hard worker!
